One Time Projects – February

What are one-time projects?

Community Outreach plans a variety of on- and off-campus events intended to give interested students an entry point into service. There are two types of one-time service opportunities:

Community Service Days (CSD) are one time volunteer placements that occur primarily during the weekends at organizations surrounding the UConn campus. To reserve a Community Service Event for your Student Organization, please email our team at uconn.co.csd@gmail.com.

Campus Wide Initiatives are large-scale on-campus events hosted in partnership with community partners, such as Special Olympics, or other campus offices. Some special projects include, Smile Mile, MLK Day of Service, and Give and Go.

All transportation is provided for Community Service Day (CSD) events. Pick-ups and drop-offs all occur outside of the People's Bank on the side of the UConn Bookstore. All times listed for events include transportation! Transportation is not included in credited service hours. Service hours are in parentheses.

If you require an accommodation to participate in any Community Outreach events, please contact Jazmyn Matos at jmm10029work@uconn.edu at least five days prior to the event.
