About Give & Go

Give & Go is an initiative by Community Outreach intended to divert waste from landfills by providing students who are moving out with an easy and accessible way to donate the items they no longer need, rather than throwing them out. Colleges and universities see significant spikes in solid waste on campus during move out periods from students throwing out items they simply don't have the room to take with them. Community Outreach works with community organizations across the state to identify specific donation needs and direct recovered items to populations in need.
