Community Outreach is aware of the needs that can arise from various disasters and devastating events and we know that the UConn community has always been very responsive with relief efforts. Therefore, we have created this resource to:
- communicate some ways that you can help in different situations;
- help coordinate (and centralize) campus and/or group efforts;
- and directly support the collection of funds & materials
Have an issue or cause that you are advocating or supporting?
If you are a member of the UConn community and you are interested in sharing information regarding a cause or issue that is happening in the world please contact Miguel Colon, Director of Community Outreach at miguel.colon@uconn.edu or 486-1165 to discuss posting to this page or other ways information can be shared on campus.

Current Relief Efforts
Community Outreach is aware of the concerns that students may have about friends and family who may be affected by the coronavirus around the world. At this time we are not connected to any charitable efforts around this issue, but we will continue to monitor the situation and invite students, faculty, and staff to inform us of opportunities that may be available to assist others affected by the virus. Please contact Community Outreach at communityoutreach@uconn.edu
