This scholarship honors an individual who plans on engaging in a community service project. The project may be a single event or a series of service events over the course of the semester.
This service award has been inspired by UConn’s commitment to develop active global citizens and is meant to increase accessibility to service opportunities for students from low socioeconomic and culturally diverse backgrounds. It is aimed at decreasing financial barriers for undergraduate students who wish to pursue service and civic engagement opportunities through University sponsored programs. Applications will be accepted from current undergraduate students and from undergraduate student groups at UConn.
